Original 1951 theatrical lobby cards from the Paramount Pictures crime film noir Appointment with Danger, starring Alan Ladd and Phyllis Calvert, with Paul Stewart, Jan Sterling and Jack Webb.

These are genuine period theatre advertising pieces rather than modern reproductions. The cards are marked Copyright 1951 Paramount Pictures Corporation and carry the National Screen Service number 51/141.

The imagery is classic early-1950s crime-film material, including dramatic scenes involving police, firearms and the film's nun character. The bold red title lettering and strong period graphics give these excellent display appeal.

Some cards also retain handwritten theatre scheduling information, including a reference to the Lyric Theatre, adding an interesting piece of their actual exhibition history.

Condition

Fair vintage condition with substantial evidence of their original theatrical use.

The cards show age toning, staining/soiling, creases, edge and corner wear, small tears, pin/staple holes and handling marks. At least two examples have handwritten theatre scheduling information across the upper margin. One card has particularly noticeable creasing and wear along the bottom and left edges.

Despite the condition issues, the photographic scenes remain colourful and the principal graphics and lettering display strongly. The wear gives these unmistakable character as genuine theatre-used advertising rather than pristine reproductions.

Please examine all photographs carefully for individual condition.
