1957 The Way to the Gold Original Movie Lobby Cards – Set of 4 – Jeffrey Hunter – 14" x 11"

Excellent group of four original 1957 theatrical lobby cards from the 20th Century-Fox CinemaScope film The Way to the Gold, starring Jeffrey Hunter, Sheree North, Barry Sullivan and Walter Brennan.

These are genuine period theatre advertising pieces rather than modern reproductions. Each card carries the 1957 20th Century-Fox Film Corp. copyright, National Screen Service information and 57-227 identification along the bottom.

The four different scenes include colourful imagery from the film, with the classic “THE WAY TO THE GOLD” arrow graphics running down the left side. At approximately 14" x 11" each, they are the standard lobby-card format and would display particularly well framed as a group.

A strong piece of 1950s Hollywood memorabilia with appeal to collectors of vintage cinema advertising, Western/crime films and mid-century graphics.

Condition

Good vintage condition considering these are nearly 70-year-old theatrical advertising pieces.

There is visible age toning around the borders, along with scattered edge and corner wear, small creases, marks and minor handling wear. One or more corners show heavier wear/creasing. Colours and central images remain quite strong and attractive.

They have not been restored or trimmed based on what is visible in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
