Description

A colourful piece of early Superman memorabilia, this vintage Supermen of America pinback button features Superman breaking a chain beneath banners reading “Strength,” “Courage” and “Justice.”

The outer yellow border carries the Supermen of America name, while the lower edge is marked © 1961 National Periodical Publications, Inc.

Measuring 1.25 inches in diameter, this harder-to-find button would make an excellent addition to a Superman, DC Comics, superhero memorabilia or vintage pinback collection.

Condition

Good vintage condition for its age. The front remains colourful and displays well, with light surface wear and minor age-related marks.

The reverse has a red-painted backing with small marks and paint wear. There is visible oxidation and tarnishing around the outer metal rim. The wire pin remains present.

The cardboard protective holder has light wear and discolouration. Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of the condition description.
