A striking Franklin Mint Big Ben skeleton clock with an intricate brass architectural design, exposed mechanical movement and glass dome display.
This model was issued by Franklin Mint in 1988 and produced in collaboration with German clockmaker Hermle. The elaborate brass framework is designed to resemble London’s famous Big Ben tower, with a visible gear train, black hands and bell mechanism. Period references identify this as a mechanical clock that strikes once on the hour when operating. AuctionZip
Your example includes both the original-style winding key and brass pendulum, along with the clear glass dome and dark wood base.

The glass dome appears intact with no obvious major chips or cracks visible in the photos. The brass architectural framework and exposed mechanism show normal age-related wear and would benefit from some careful cleaning and attention.
The clock is currently not running. It may require servicing, adjustment or repair. Strictly a restoration project, decorative collectible or parts/repair clock.
Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the condition description.
