1992 Labatt Genuine Draft Cold Filtered Die-Cut Cardboard Beer Sign – 18" x 16"

Original Labatt Genuine Draft beer advertising display dating to 1992. This Canadian breweriana piece is shaped like an oversized beer bottle cap with frosty ice detailing around the perimeter and the classic Labatt Genuine Draft – Cold Filtered graphics in the centre.

The printed copyright line dates the piece to 1992, putting it firmly into the early Genuine Draft advertising era. Canadian trademark records also show Labatt filing its Genuine Draft design trademark in August 1992, which fits perfectly with the date printed on this display.

The die-cut bottle-cap shape makes it much more visually interesting than a standard rectangular cardboard beer sign. A great piece of 1990s Canadian brewery advertising for a home bar, games room, garage, cabin or Labatt collection.

Condition

Good vintage advertising condition for a cardboard display of this age.

The main Labatt graphics remain strong and very readable. There is visible surface wear, staining/discolouration, scuffing and edge wear, particularly through the simulated frost area. There are several small mounting holes and some wear around the lower edge and projections of the die-cut design.

No attempt has been made to clean or restore it. The wear gives it an authentic used brewery-display appearance rather than the look of a modern reproduction.

Please review the photographs closely as they form part of the condition description.
