A fantastic 1995 ERTL Collectibles Budweiser Clydesdale Eight-Horse Hitch Mechanical Bank, Stock No. B576, produced as an officially licensed Anheuser-Busch collectible.

This elaborate display recreates one of the most recognizable images in American advertising: the Budweiser Clydesdale eight-horse hitch pulling the famous red Budweiser beer wagon. Each horse is individually detailed with harnessing, while the wagon features Budweiser graphics, stacked cases, drivers and Dalmatian.

What makes this example especially desirable is how much of the original presentation remains with it. It includes the original illustrated ERTL box, clear display cover/base, protective wrapping and the original Budweiser Clydesdale Eight-Horse Hitch instruction sheet.

The bank was designed so coins are deposited around the driver's area and stored within the wagon. ERTL marketed it as an adult collectible rather than a children's toy.

Condition

The collectible itself appears to be in very good to excellent vintage condition and has clearly spent much of its life protected in its original packaging. Portions of the horse team remain wrapped in protective material.

The original clear display cover is present and appears generally good.

The outer cardboard box shows storage and age wear, including edge wear, scuffing, small tears, creasing and some discoloration. There is also tape/residue visible on one end of the box.

The original instruction sheet shows some folding/creasing consistent with storage.

Because the hitch has not been fully removed and assembled for testing, the mechanical bank function has not been tested and is not guaranteed. Based on the photographs, the major components appear present, but buyers should review all photos carefully for exact contents and condition.
