Aladdin Nu-Type Model B-85 White Moonstone Diamond Quilt Kerosene Lamp – c.1937

Original Aladdin Nu-Type Model B kerosene mantle lamp made by the Mantle Lamp Company of Chicago, featuring the desirable White Moonstone Diamond Quilt glass pattern.

This style is identified in collector references as the Model B-85 White Moonstone Quilt, dating to approximately 1937. The lamp has a pressed white opalescent glass font with a diamond-quilted design, fluted pedestal stem and round foot, paired with its original Nu-Type Model B burner. 

The burner medallion is clearly marked “The Mantle Lamp Co. – Nu-Type Model B – Aladdin – Made in U.S.A. – Chicago, Ill.”

Condition
Good antique condition with normal age-related wear. Glass appears free of obvious cracks or major chips in the photos. Metal burner shows patina, tarnish and darkening consistent with age.

The chimney and mantle are not present, so this is being sold as shown. Burner and wick mechanism have not been tested, and operating condition is unknown. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
