Antique Primitive Metal Bow Saw / Buck Saw – 32" x 16" – Rustic Farm Tool

Excellent old all-metal bow saw, also commonly called a buck saw, with a wonderfully aged surface and primitive farm-tool character.

Unlike the wooden-frame example, this one has a curved tubular steel frame with a long coarse-tooth steel blade secured across the bottom. The entire piece has developed a heavy, natural rusty-brown patina that gives it a particularly strong authentic farmhouse or industrial look.

At approximately 32" long × 16" high, it is an ideal size for wall display and would look fantastic in a farmhouse, cabin, workshop, garage, restaurant or rustic décor setting.

Details

• Antique/vintage metal bow saw / buck saw
• All-metal construction
• Curved tubular steel frame
• Long coarse-tooth saw blade
• Approximate dimensions: 32" × 16"
• Heavy naturally aged patina
• Older utilitarian farm / logging tool
• Great primitive, farmhouse or industrial décor
• Excellent wall-display piece

Condition

Good aged condition with substantial authentic wear.

The entire saw shows heavy surface rust, oxidation, scratches, pitting and general age-related wear. Remnants of old green paint or tape are visible around part of the frame.

The blade remains attached and the large teeth appear substantially intact. It has not been tested for cutting performance and is being sold primarily as a collectible/decorative vintage tool.

I would leave the patina exactly as it is rather than aggressively cleaning or refinishing it.
