Armstrong’s “Miss Murray” Limited Edition Collector Plate – 1983 – No. 1212/7500

An elegant 1983 Armstrong’s Art on Porcelain collector plate titled “Miss Murray,” featuring a beautifully reproduced portrait originally painted by renowned British artist Sir Thomas Lawrence.

The portrait is framed by an ornate gold-tone border with finely detailed pastoral scenes, giving the plate a classic Regency-era look. This example is individually numbered 1212 of 7,500 and still comes with its original Armstrong’s packaging.

“Miss Murray” was the first plate in Armstrong’s Portraits of Childhood series, issued in 1983.

Condition

Very good pre-owned condition overall. The porcelain displays beautifully with strong colour and bright gold detailing. Original box shows noticeable age, storage wear and some deterioration/taping to the cardboard, which is visible in the photos.
