Cast Aluminum Apple Tree Plaque – 13 x 7 Inches – Pierced Tree of Life Design – Standing or Wall Hanging – Silver Tone

A big old apple tree, cast in solid aluminum. This pierced plaque shows a spreading tree heavy with round fruit and leaves, all cut through in openwork, on a flared root base that lets it stand on its own on a shelf, mantel or windowsill. It also has mounting holes on the back, so it can hang on a wall or a garden fence instead. The matte silver-grey finish and soft, hand-cast texture give it a quiet folk-art feel that suits a farmhouse kitchen, entryway or sunroom. Maker and age unknown — no maker's marks are visible — it is simply a sturdy, good-looking piece of cast metalwork.
