Franklin Mint The Seafarer’s Lamp – 24K Gold-Plated Nautical Table Lamp

Beautiful collectible Franklin Mint “The Seafarer’s Lamp”, designed in the style of a traditional maritime lantern and paired with an antique world-map shade.

The lamp features a richly detailed gold-plated body, clear glass lantern centre with protective cage, dark wood-tone base, decorative scrollwork, and nautical anchor finial. The six-sided shade is decorated with vintage-style world maps, giving the lamp a distinctive old-world maritime appearance.

One of the nicest features is the dual-light design. The main upper bulb provides normal table-lamp lighting, while a small bulb inside the lantern section creates a warm glowing nightlight effect. Both can be used to create a very impressive display.

The underside label identifies it as The Franklin Mint – The Seafarer’s Lamp. This model was produced as a maritime collectible and is described in collector references as having a heavy 24-karat gold-plated metal finish.

Collector references describe the lamp as approximately 22 inches tall with an 11-inch six-sided map shade and separate main and nightlight illumination.

Condition

Good vintage/collectible condition overall.

The lamp has been tested and works. The gold-tone surfaces remain bright and attractive with some light surface wear and age-related marks visible on close inspection. Glass appears intact, and the map shade presents very well.
