Great Western Original Gold Beer Promotional Umbrella – Saskatchewan Breweriana – Original Sleeve – Approx. 93" x 80"

A fantastic piece of Great Western Brewing Company advertising featuring the older GW Original Gold branding.

This is a genuine brewery promotional umbrella with a bright red canopy and large GW Original Gold logos repeated around the panels. When opened, the red fabric and blue, gold, white and black graphics really pop and make this a great display piece.

It also includes its original red storage sleeve/bag, which is a big plus. This one has clearly been stored carefully—the colours remain remarkably bright.

Great Western’s Original Gold trademark was first used in Canada in 1997, giving this logo a distinctly older Saskatchewan beer-advertising look. The trademark registration was later inactivated in 2018. ISED Canada

Great Western itself is a Saskatoon brewery formed by 16 employees who purchased the brewery in 1989 after Molson planned to close it, giving pieces like this particularly strong Saskatchewan collector appeal. City of Saskatoon
