Grocery & Retail Matchbook Covers Lot of 7 – Kozmeniuk's Danbury Saskatchewan, IGA, Robinson Stores, Food Club, Wayfare

Seven vintage matchbook covers — covers only, flattened for collecting — celebrating the stores that fed small-town Canada. The heart of the lot is the red Kozmeniuk's General Store cover from Danbury, Saskatchewan, with its Quick Freeze Locker Plant at Stenen, Sask. — "Quality, Service, Value" and "We Thank You!" from the days when the general store was the centre of town. The grocery chains are here too: a bold red-and-blue IGA cover for Tablerite Meat ("Shop and Save at IGA — Real Eating Pleasure"), a Robinson Stores cover ("Over 200 Robinson Stores — Buying As One To Bring You Better Values," with the RS badge over a map outline), a Super Save Markets cover ("Where Price is Right it pays to shop"), and a Food Club cover ("The Top of the Crop," Superior Match Co., Chicago). Rounding out the lot: a yellow Hornick & Shaw Hardware cover (Nelson Hornick, Prop., Tilbury, Ontario — "Quality Is Your Safeguard") and an orange Wayfare cover from Gulf Oil Canada's highway restaurants, with Gulf's bilingual dining blurb printed inside.

Used vintage covers, sold as collectible advertising paper. All are flattened covers only — matches removed long ago — with staple holes at the strikers, and insides mostly blank. The Kozmeniuk's cover has wear and a small torn area near the striker; the Super Save cover's bottom edge is frayed; the IGA shows rubbing and surface wear. The Wayfare, Robinson, Food Club and Hornick & Shaw covers are bright and clean. Exactly as shown in the photos.
