Imperial Tobacco Game Bird Series Cards – Lot of 11 Different – 1920s Canadian Tobacco Cards – Cardinal, Toucan, Kingfisher & More

A beautiful little flock from the golden age of tobacco cards. These are from the Game Bird Series issued by the Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada — a "Series of 30" tucked into cigarette packs in the 1920s, each card a rich colour lithograph with a gold border and a natural-history write-up on the back. This lot has 11 different birds, from the everyday Cardinal and Bluebird to the exotic Giant Toucan and the Red Bird of Paradise. The colours are still vivid a century later. A great starter group for a tobacco-card collector, or frame-worthy bird art for a nature lover.

Condition
Honest antique condition, sold as pictured. The lithograph colours are bright and the backs are clean and fully readable, but the cards show their age: edge and corner wear with small white nicks along several edges, wear to the gold borders, and a light crease visible on the King Fisher card. No writing, no stains of note, no missing corners. A sound, displayable group — not mint.
