A collectible Old Canada decorative plate featuring a reproduction of “Briking the Toll”, painted at Longueuil, Quebec in 1861 by renowned Canadian artist Cornelius Krieghoff.
This plate was issued by McGuinness Distillers Limited of Toronto, Ontario as part of a limited edition series of only 3,200 plates. This example is individually numbered 433.
Measuring approximately 7.75 inches in diameter, it displays a classic Canadian winter scene with a horse-drawn sleigh, toll gate and figures in period dress.
