A fascinating collection of 10 original cancelled bank checks issued by The Waterloo Savings Bank of Waterloo, Iowa, during 1946 and 1947.

Each check was written to the Standard Oil Company and bears period stamps from Leo’s Standard Service, operated by Leo Hemminger in Waterloo. The reverse sides feature authentic bank-processing stamps, handwritten markings and punched cancellation numbers.

Good vintage condition with natural yellowing, minor edge wear, light creasing, handling marks and period ink stamps consistent with documents approximately 80 years old.
