Original 1969 Meteor automobile sales brochure produced for the Canadian market by Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited.

This is a great piece of Canadian automotive history covering the 1969 Meteor lineup, including the Montcalm S33, Montcalm, Rideau 500, Rideau and LeMoyne models.

The brochure features excellent full-colour period artwork and photography, including a large two-page spread of the 1969 Montcalm S33 2-door convertible and hardtop, interior upholstery, dashboards, engines, wheel covers and available factory accessories.

The specifications section is particularly useful to collectors and restorers, detailing engine choices, transmissions, dimensions, axle ratios, brakes, tires, capacities and available equipment. Engine options shown range from the 240 cu. in. six-cylinder through the 429 cu. in. V8.

The back carries the classic Ford/Mercury Canadian dealership branding and states “Printed in Canada.”

Condition

Good original vintage condition for a piece of automotive literature approaching 60 years old.

There is visible handling and storage wear, including some creasing, light staining/discolouration, edge and corner wear, small tears/nicks and punched holes near the upper edge. The centre fold shows normal use.

Importantly, the colourful interior illustrations and vehicle artwork remain attractive and highly displayable, and the specifications remain readable.

It has not been cleaned, trimmed or restored and retains the character expected from original dealership literature.

Local pickup available in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with meetup location arranged after purchase. Cash accepted for local pickup.

Shipping is available throughout Canada and the United States at the buyer’s expense. A $1 shipping deposit is charged at checkout and applied toward the final shipping cost. Final shipping is calculated after the brochure is safely packed and a Canada Post quote is obtained.
