Scott's Emulsion Fisherman Bottle – Embossed Fisherman Carrying a Cod – Clear Glass Cod Liver Oil Bottle – Scott & Bowne

One of the great trademark bottles. Moulded right into the glass is Scott & Bowne's famous fisherman, carrying a codfish nearly as big as he is — the mark Scott's Emulsion cod liver oil used from the 1870s onward, and one of the most recognized embossed figures on any medicine bottle. This is the machine-made screw-top version of the bottle, clear glass with the fisherman standing out bold and crisp on the front panel. Bottles like this were a fixture in prairie farmhouses and medicine cabinets for generations. Empty and clean, ready for a bottle shelf, a window ledge where the light catches the embossing, or a Scott's Emulsion collection.
