Signed Original Street Scene Painting – Framed – 17" x 14.75"

An attractive original signed street-scene painting depicting a narrow historic-looking lane lined with dark timbered buildings, warm tiled roofs and architectural details.

The composition has a strong European / old-world village feel, with deep shadows, warm earth tones and a central perspective that draws the eye down the street. The painting is executed on canvas and presented in a substantial wood-tone frame with a pale inner surround and gold-tone trim.

The lower right is signed and dated ’08. The signature is difficult to read with certainty from the photos, so I would avoid attributing it to a specific artist unless further documentation turns up.
