Add a bold piece of Canadian advertising history to your collection with this vintage Millbank Straight Cut cigarette tin, originally designed to hold 50 cigarettes.

Finished in a distinctive mustard-yellow colour with red and black lettering, the tin advertises “Highest Grade Virginia Tobacco” and displays the Millbank branding across the lid and sides. It was manufactured by the Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada Limited in Montreal, Canada.

The attached hinged lid opens to reveal additional Millbank advertising graphics on its underside. Years of wear, scratches and paint loss have created an authentic aged appearance that suits an antique advertising display, general-store collection or tobacciana collection.

Authentic vintage condition with considerable age-related wear.

The tin has scratches, scuffs, surface marks, paint loss, white paint splatters, label residue, discolouration, edge wear and areas of oxidation. There are small dents and surface imperfections consistent with age and previous use.

The interior shows scratching, dark spotting, staining and oxidation. The hinged lid remains attached and opens and closes.

The Millbank name and main advertising graphics remain clearly visible despite the wear. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
