Vintage 1970s Cracker Jack Lenticular Animal Cards with Red Collector Wallet – 20 Cards

A fantastic piece of vintage Cracker Jack advertising and premium history. This lot includes 20 vintage Cracker Jack animal cards stored in a bright red Cracker Jack collector wallet featuring the gold Cracker Jack logo and wildcat graphic.

The cards feature animals from several of Cracker Jack’s Canadian lenticular series of the 1970s. Depending on the card, the fronts use either a 3D lenticular image or flicker/motion-style effect, while the backs provide animal information in both English and French.

Visible subjects include animals such as the giraffe, lion, cheetah, elephant, grizzly bear, Rocky Mountain cougar, hippopotamus, Roosevelt elk, Galapagos tortoise, ostrich and others.

Cracker Jack collectors identify three Canadian animal-card groups from approximately 1973–1975, totalling 56 different cards. The red premium wallet is associated with the Animal Champions series from approximately 1975.

Condition

Vintage pre-owned condition. The red wallet shows some light surface wear, marks and age-related use. The cards show varying amounts of age-related wear and discoloration, particularly on some backs, but overall display very nicely in the protective wallet.
