Vintage 1970s Hasbro Digger the Dog Pull Toy – Yellow Hat – 14" × 6"

Great vintage Hasbro “Digger the Dog” pull-along toy, dating to approximately the 1970s. Digger has a cream-coloured plastic body with brown markings, floppy dark ears, oversized paws, bright red wheels and his distinctive yellow hat.

This larger pull toy has loads of character and displays especially well. When originally pulled along, Digger was designed so his articulated body and legs moved as he rolled. Comparable examples are commonly identified as Hasbro Digger the Dog and dated to the early-to-mid 1970s. eBay

Condition

Vintage played-with condition with substantial age-related character. There are scratches, scuffs, paint/finish loss, discolouration and general surface wear throughout.

The yellow hat and pull cord are still present. The toy appears to be missing its tail, which is common on surviving examples of this model. Comparable examples missing the tail and showing similar play wear are currently on the market. eBay
