Vintage Aladdin Model No. 10 Nickel-Plated Kerosene Mantle Lamp – Chicago USA

A striking vintage Aladdin Model No. 10 kerosene mantle lamp with a bright nickel-plated metal finish, classic pedestal form, ornate gallery and tall clear glass chimney.

The burner badge is clearly marked:

“The Mantle Lamp Company of America – Aladdin – Model No. 10 – Chicago, Ill.”

This is a genuine early Aladdin mantle lamp and has excellent display appeal. The reflective metal body gives it a very different look from the more common glass-base Aladdin lamps and makes it a great piece for collectors of vintage lighting, farmhouse décor and early household items.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear.

The nickel-plated finish still presents very well but shows areas of oxidation, spotting, tarnish and surface wear consistent with its age. The burner and gallery also show some discoloration and use-related wear.

The glass chimney appears intact in the supplied photos with no obvious major chips or cracks visible.

Untested and being sold as a vintage collectible/display item. Any vintage fuel lamp should be inspected and serviced before being put back into use.
