Vintage Amtrak Trainman Uniform Badge – Red & Blue Arrow Logo

A genuine-looking piece of vintage American railroad memorabilia featuring Amtrak’s classic red-and-blue Arrow logo and the employee position “Trainman.”

This large gold-tone badge measures approximately 3" x 1.75" and was designed as a railroad uniform insignia. Amtrak agreements specifically required Trainmen and Conductors working passenger service to wear Amtrak-prescribed uniforms, badges and insignia.

The design is particularly attractive because it uses Amtrak’s original Arrow, or “motion-mark,” adopted in 1971 and used as the company’s primary logo until 1999.

A great collectible for an Amtrak enthusiast, railway memorabilia collector or vintage transportation display.

Condition

Good vintage condition with noticeable authentic use and age wear.

The front shows scratches, small marks, finish wear and some discoloration. Red and blue areas remain bright and the lettering presents well. Reverse shows surface wear, scratches and oxidation/discoloration.
