A fun pair of vintage comic-book fan-club buttons featuring two classic teenage-comedy characters.

The set includes an Official Member Archie Club button featuring Archie Andrews and a harder-to-find Member Tippy Teen P.A.L. Club button featuring Tippy, Tommy, Go-Go and Animal.

Tippy Teen was published by Tower Comics during the 1960s, and the P.A.L. Club button was promoted through the comic series. Similar Archie Club membership buttons are generally identified as mid-century collectibles.

An appealing little set for collectors of vintage comics, character memorabilia, fan-club items or pinback buttons.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear.

The fronts remain colourful and easy to read. The Tippy Teen button shows light spotting, surface marks and discolouration.

The Archie Club button has visible oxidation and darkening on the reverse. Both pinback mechanisms are present. Because of their age, the pins should be handled carefully.
