Vintage B-A British American Oil Cup Grease Tin – 4" – Canadian Gas & Oil Advertising

A great piece of early Canadian service-station advertising. This vintage B-A (British American Oil Company) Cup Grease tin features the classic green, red and cream B-A Service Products graphics.

At only 4 inches across, this is exactly the type of small original advertising piece that displays beautifully alongside vintage oil cans, service-station signs, automotive memorabilia or garage collectibles.

The age-related wear and patina give this one plenty of character, while the important B-A graphics remain very recognizable.

Condition

Authentic vintage used condition with substantial age-related wear.

There is oxidation/rust throughout the interior and underside, along with surface wear, scratches, staining and paint loss. The exterior graphics show wear but remain quite readable and attractive for display.

I would not clean or restore this tin. The aged surface is part of its appeal as an original petroleum collectible.
