Vintage Canadian A&W Root Beer Amber Glass Gallon Jug – Original Label & Cap

Great piece of Canadian A&W advertising history. This large vintage A&W Root Beer amber glass jug features its original orange-and-cream paper A&W label, moulded finger-loop handle, and original branded metal screw cap.

The jug is marked “MADE IN CANADA” on the base along with mould/code markings including 2206. Comparable Canadian jugs with the same 2206 mould number have been attributed to Dominion Glass Company.

A very displayable piece of vintage restaurant, soda fountain, advertising, or Canadiana memorabilia.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall. The amber glass presents very well. The original paper label remains substantially intact but shows noticeable age-related fading, edge wear, creasing and some loss, particularly around the upper-right area.
