Vintage Canadian Bank Matchbooks Lot of 5 FULL CIBC Royal Bank Grandview Credit Union Manitoba Advertising

Canadian banks used to hand out matchbooks by the thousands — and almost none survived unused. This lot of five is all full and unstruck, with the matches still inside every book: a pair of gold-foil Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce books, a pair of Royal Bank books, and a green Grandview Credit Union book from Grandview, Manitoba. A tidy little snapshot of prairie banking history, and getting harder to find complete like this.
