intage Edwards of Canada Limited “Adaptabel” electric signal/alarm bell, made in Owen Sound, Canada.

This industrial-style bell features a bright red metal gong with the original centre identification plate. The internal electromagnetic bell mechanism is exposed on the back, making it a great piece of old Canadian electrical, industrial, school, factory, or fire-alarm memorabilia.

The label identifies it as an Edwards Adaptabel and shows 6 volts, 60 cycles and 1.25 amps.

Condition

Good vintage condition with expected age-related wear.

The red finish has scratches, scuffs, small paint losses and surface wear. The identification plate shows age and oxidation. Internal components appear substantially intact from the photos.
