Vintage Frostade Drink Mix Packets Lot of 11 EMPTY Wrappers Orange Lemon Parkhurst Products Toronto Canada 5 Cent Fruit Crystals

Before Freshie and Kool-Aid owned the summer, Canadian kids were mixing Frostade — 5-cent packets of fruit crystals sold by Parkhurst Products of Toronto. This lot is eleven of the original paper packets: 8 Orange and 3 Lemon, every one printed with the frosty soda glass, the 5¢ price, and the Chatelaine Institute seal of approval. The backs are the best part — bilingual ("Hey Kids!" / "Hé les Amis!"), with the mixing recipe and Frosty's pitch to save the packets and write away for super prizes. These are the EMPTY wrappers only, sold as advertising ephemera — getting harder to find in any condition, and they frame up beautifully for a kitchen or soda-shop display.

Condition
Honest ephemera condition. All eleven packets are opened with torn top edges, and they show creasing, toning, and edge wear throughout. One Lemon packet is missing a corner piece, one Orange packet has brown spotting, and the flavour banner is torn off one Orange packet. Printing remains bright and fully legible on fronts and backs, as shown in the photos.
