Six fold-out road maps from the days when the gas station attendant handed them over free — and wiped your windshield while he was at it. This 1960s lot spans six oil brands: a Conoco Western Canada map with a Rockies fly-fishing photo cover (and the famous "Hottest Brand Going" branding-iron artwork on the back), an American Oil Alaska & Western Canada map with a credit-card ad on the reverse, a Phillips 66 Interstate Highway Guide from the dawn of the Interstate era, an Enco Arizona–New Mexico map with the "Put a Tiger in Your Tank" tiger on the back, a Gulf Minnesota & Wisconsin Tourgide, and a cheerfully illustrated Champlin Dakotas map. Petroliana, cartography, and pure road-trip nostalgia in one lot.
