Vintage Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash Outfit – Camera, Flash, Box & Manuals

Original Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Outfit featuring the classic Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model camera, detachable flash unit, original presentation box and vintage instruction material.

The bright yellow Kodak box has fantastic mid-century graphics, including the slogan “Where there’s fun, there’s a snapshot.” The camera itself is the familiar black molded-body Hawkeye design with silver front panel, accompanied by its large round flash reflector.

Kodak produced the Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model from 1950 to 1961. It uses 620 roll film and produces approximately 2¼" x 2¼" square negatives.

Condition

Good vintage collectible condition overall.

The camera and flash present well visually, but I have not tested the camera or flash, so they should be sold as untested.

The original box shows considerable age-related wear including scuffs, edge wear, corner damage, staining and general handling wear. The instruction papers also show creasing, edge wear and age-related marks. There is handwritten information on one of the instruction sheets.

The presence of the original box, fitted insert, flash attachment and paperwork is the biggest selling point of this set.
