Vintage Korean Aluminum Canteen with Canvas “Official Trail Canteen” Cover

A well-used vintage aluminum canteen complete with its original-style canvas carrying cover and shoulder strap.

The olive-drab canvas cover is printed “OFFICIAL TRAIL CANTEEN” with an outdoor scene graphic, giving it a great old camping and scouting look. Inside is a round aluminum canteen with black screw cap and attached chain. The underside is stamped “KOREA.”

This one has plenty of honest age and wear and would make a strong display piece in a vintage camping, outdoor or militaria-style collection.

Condition

Pre-owned vintage condition with substantial wear from age and use. The aluminum canteen shows scratches, scuffs, dents, oxidation and surface marks. The canvas cover has staining, fading, edge wear and general soiling, while the strap and hardware also show age and wear.

The cap, chain, cover and shoulder strap are all present. Watertightness and interior cleanliness have not been tested. Please review all photos closely.
