Fourteen flat vintage matchbook covers — covers only, no matches — running from an RCAF Station Uplands cover and a CFB Toronto Officers' Mess cover to one of the great northern pieces: the Hudson Hotel in Churchill, Manitoba, "North of 58, Where Good Friends Meet," with the owners' construction company advertised on the back. Add a University of Manitoba crest cover, a Wawanesa Mutual insurance cover with the bluntest safety slogan ever printed, and a deep run of Saskatchewan — Sturgis, Wakaw, Porcupine Plain, Crooked River, and Tisdale twice. Sold as one lot of 14.

Honest vintage condition, sold as pictured. The Mike's Cafe cover is the roughest — faded, stained, and torn at the top edge, with colour bleed showing inside. The rest show typical creasing, toning, and edge wear; the military covers, Hudson Hotel, and Porcupine Cafe pin-up are bright and clean. All printing legible.
