Vintage Minerva Eight Transistor “High Sensitivity” portable radio, likely dating to the 1960s.

This mid-century portable radio has a classic black stitched carrying case, large silver-tone speaker grille, cream-coloured tuning controls and a clear rear panel that shows the internal transistor circuitry, ferrite antenna and other components.

A great display piece for collectors of vintage radios, electronics, mid-century décor or retro technology.

Condition
Fair-to-good vintage condition with noticeable age and use wear.

The radio powers on, but it does not currently tune stations, so it is being sold as a partially working collectible, repair project or restoration piece.

The exterior shows scuffs, edge wear, surface loss and deterioration around portions of the stitching and strap mounts. There are also remnants of old tape or labels on one side. The speaker grille and trim show age-related marks and discoloration.

Internal components appear largely present through the clear rear panel. Sold as-is. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
