Description
A colourful vintage character jug featuring a cheerful gentleman wearing a black top hat, blue-trimmed jacket and red bow tie. His sculpted brown hair forms the handle, giving the piece plenty of personality from every angle.
Marked “Made in Occupied Japan” on the base, dating it to the postwar occupation period. This distinctive jug would display beautifully in a china cabinet, on open shelving or alongside a collection of Toby and character jugs.
