Vintage Porcelain Table Lamp – Green & Gold Courting Couple – Ornate Scroll Handles – 17"

Beautiful vintage porcelain table lamp with a soft green and cream body, ornate open scroll handles, gold detailing and a classic courting couple pastoral scene on the front.

This style was especially popular in the mid-20th century and is often associated with Fragonard-style / Victorian Revival décor. Similar green-and-gold courting-couple lamps are commonly dated to around the 1950s–1960s.

The original-style metal socket is marked Leviton, and the lamp is shown illuminated, so it has been tested and is working.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear.

There is some visible wear and loss to the gold trim, along with light surface marks and signs of previous use. The porcelain body appears intact in the supplied photos with no obvious major cracks or breaks.

The socket and metal fittings show normal age-related patina.

Lamp has been tested and works.

As with any older electrical item, a buyer may wish to have the wiring inspected before long-term use.
