A genuine 1952 Portland Pottery serving bowl made in Cobridge, Staffordshire, England. The bowl features a warm autumn leaf and berry border in orange, brown, green and soft blue tones, giving it a classic mid-century English tableware look.
The underside is clearly marked “Portland Pottery – Cobridge – Staffordshire – Made in England – 11/1952.” Portland Pottery operated in Cobridge beginning in 1946, and its dated backstamps commonly indicate the month and year of manufacture, making this example November 1952.

Condition
Vintage condition with significant age-related crazing throughout the glaze.
There is also a visible crack extending from the rim, along with a small chip/loss at the rim where the crack begins. Additional staining, scratches and general age wear are present.
Because of the crack, I would market this primarily as a decorative/display collectible rather than everyday serving ware. The damage is clearly shown in the photos and should be considered when purchasing.
