Classic vintage Pyrex 401 mixing bowl with a rich brown exterior and white milk-glass interior. The underside is embossed PYREX – Made in U.S.A. – Ovenware and marked 401 – 1½ PT – No. 23.

The 401 is the smallest size in Pyrex’s nesting mixing-bowl family. Pyrex collector references confirm that the 401 is a 1½-pint bowl, and solid brown 401 bowls were produced for certain vintage Pyrex sets.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall with normal wear from age and previous use. The white interior remains glossy and the brown exterior still displays well. There is some light wear around the rim and exterior consistent with vintage Pyrex.
