Vintage Pyrex 403 Yellow Mixing Bowl – 2½ Quart – No. 1

Classic vintage Pyrex 403 mixing bowl with a sunny yellow exterior and white milk-glass interior. The underside is embossed PYREX – Made in U.S.A. – Ovenware and marked 403 – 2½ QT – No. 1.

The 403 is the 2½-quart size in Pyrex’s nesting mixing-bowl family. Yellow 403 bowls do exist and are sought after as replacement/completion pieces for vintage Pyrex sets. A recent sold example of a yellow 403 brought US$22.95, while a Canadian listing for a similar yellow 403 was around C$31.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall with normal age-related wear.

The yellow exterior still shows good colour, with some light scratches, scuffs and wear around the rim. The white interior shows normal signs of use and some light discoloration/marks visible in the photos.

No obvious chips or cracks are visible.
