A wonderful piece of Saskatchewan history, this vintage pair of rimless wire-frame eyeglasses comes with its original-style black optometrist case marked “Daniel Rosche, Optometrist, 1765 Hamilton St., Regina – Phone 4347.”
The delicate gold-tone wire construction, rimless lenses and cable-style temples give these glasses a classic early-to-mid 20th-century appearance. The Regina-marked case adds a particularly nice local-history connection and makes the set much more interesting for Saskatchewan collectors.
