Vintage Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Grain Sample Bag with Original Tag – 6" × 10"

A great piece of Saskatchewan agricultural history from the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. This approximately 6" × 10" cloth drawstring sample bag retains its original Wheat Pool identification tag, with spaces for the variety, lot number and crop certificate number.

This appears to have been used for handling or identifying grain/seed samples, making it a much more interesting piece than a generic cloth sack. Saskatchewan Wheat Pool memorabilia has strong regional appeal, particularly to collectors of prairie agriculture, grain elevators and Saskatchewan history. The Wheat Pool name disappeared in 2007 when the company became Viterra.

Condition

Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related discoloration, small spots, surface marks and general handling wear to the cloth. The original paper tag shows creasing and age wear but remains clear and readable. Drawstrings remain present.

The age and use wear add character and are consistent with an authentic working agricultural piece.
