Vintage Sheraton 2-Quart “Chill-It” Pitcher – Silverplate & Heavy Glass – Original Box

A beautiful vintage serving piece with serious presence, this Sheraton Silverplate “Chill-It” Pitcher combines a heavy patterned glass body with an ornate silverplated top, hinged lid, decorative handle and finial.

The original box describes it as a 2-quart Chill-It Pitcher “for the elegant hostess” and notes the removable “icer” tube, designed to chill the contents without diluting the drink.

The clear glass body has a rich diamond/hobnail-style texture, while the silverplated upper section features an elaborate scrolling handle and classic formal styling. This is the kind of piece that can work beautifully on a bar cart, dining table, buffet or display cabinet.

It also retains its original Sheraton box and care booklet, which is a big plus for a vintage serving piece.

Condition

Very good vintage condition overall.

The glass appears intact with no obvious major chips or cracks visible in the supplied photos. The silverplate shows considerable tarnish and surface oxidation, but this appears largely cosmetic and should improve substantially with careful polishing.
