Vintage Soho Pottery Ambassador Ware Fruit Plate – England – 8"

Vintage Soho Pottery Ambassador Ware square plate made in England, featuring a colourful fruit design with pears, cherries and other fruit on a warm cream background.

The plate has a gently shaped square form with a decorative beaded/scalloped edge. The underside is clearly marked “Soho Pottery – Ambassador Ware – England.”

This style of 8-inch Ambassador Ware plate dates to the vintage English pottery era, with similar examples commonly attributed to the mid-20th century.

Condition

Fair vintage condition.

There is a visible crack running inward from the left edge, clearly shown in the photos. There is also normal age-related surface wear and light marks.

Because of the crack, I would consider this primarily a display or collection piece rather than an everyday-use plate.
