Vintage Wooden Nine Men’s Morris Game – 8" x 8" – Made in Taiwan

Vintage wooden Nine Men’s Morris strategy game with a rich dark-brown finish, gold-tone playing lines and built-in storage for the game pieces.

The board measures approximately 8" x 8" and has a sliding section that reveals a recessed storage compartment containing the metal playing balls. The classic three-square layout identifies it as a Nine Men’s Morris board, one of the oldest traditional strategy games still played today.

The underside retains an older Made in Taiwan / Fabriqué à Taiwan label along with factory markings.

Nine Men’s Morris is played on a 24-point board using nine pieces per player, with the goal of creating rows of three known as “mills.”

Condition

Good vintage pre-owned condition with normal surface scratches, scuffs and wear from age and use. The underside shows dust, marks and label wear. Metal balls show some finish variation and oxidation.
