A beautiful piece of vintage men’s grooming history from Yardley of London.
This is the classic Yardley English Lavender Shaving Bowl, model No. 2055, complete with its original cardboard box and unused shaving soap housed in a wooden bowl.
The wooden bowl is still wrapped in its original protective plastic, and the original green-and-black Yardley label remains intact. The packaging carries the old 33 Old Bond Street, London, England address and period advertising for Yardley’s men’s grooming line.
A strong display piece for a vintage barber, shaving, pharmacy or advertising collection.

Condition
Very good vintage collectible condition overall.
The shaving bowl and soap appear unused, with the protective wrap still present. The cardboard box shows expected age-related wear including edge wear, creasing, discoloration and some weakened/flared flaps.
Because of its age, the soap is being sold as a collectible display item rather than for personal use.
