Shepherd became the first curator of Saskatchewan’s Western Development Museum in 1953 and published West of Yesterday in 1965. His background as a homesteader, rancher, historian and museum curator gives this book especially strong Saskatchewan interest.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall. The hardcover book appears well preserved with clean interior pages. Original dust jacket shows expected age-related wear, including edge wear, small tears/creases and some toning. Having the original illustrated jacket is a definite plus.
